For the 13th World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference, Evolution Technical was entrusted with delivering a complete audio and lighting package for the MC13 Ceremonial Gala Dinner at Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi.

The prestigious event welcomed high-level international delegates for an evening of networking, cultural performances and formal dining, reflecting the UAE's reputation for hosting world-class diplomatic events. Evolution's role was to provide a seamless technical production that supported live performances and speeches while complementing the grandeur of one of the country's most iconic venues.

The Challenge

Delivering technical production within the Presidential Palace required meticulous planning, strict adherence to security protocols and logistical coordination across the Evolution Ecosystem.

The production needed to provide high-quality audio reinforcement, elegant architectural lighting and reliable communications across the venue, while ensuring uninterrupted support for speeches, performances and event operations.

One of the project's greatest challenges was the limited load-in and load-out schedule. Equipment had to be delivered, installed, tested and removed within tightly controlled access windows without compromising production quality or operational efficiency.

The Solution

Evolution Technical deployed a comprehensive site-wide lighting system built around a Litec ground support box truss, providing the flexibility and coverage required across the gala environment while maintaining the venue's architectural integrity.

Audio reinforcement was delivered using a complete L-Acoustics sound system, providing exceptional clarity for speeches, live performances and background ambience throughout the evening. An integrated RF system ensured reliable wireless communications for performers and presenters, supporting seamless stage operations.

To coordinate the event efficiently, Evolution implemented a site-wide communications network that enabled precise show calling and technical coordination across multiple teams.

To overcome the venue's restricted installation schedule, the project team adopted a rolling 12-hour shift strategy, allowing equipment to be delivered, installed, tested and commissioned within the allocated access periods. Throughout the project, the team successfully managed stringent security procedures while maintaining the highest standards of technical delivery.

Set against the backdrop of SailGP Abu Dhabi, the Mubadala X SailGP Leadership Event brought together senior stakeholders, partners and invited guests to celebrate the announcement of Mubadala's sponsorship of the Brazil SailGP Team.

Hosted inside a purpose-built temporary structure, the event combined executive presentations, brand storytelling and networking in a premium setting.

To support the occasion, Evolution was responsible for delivering the complete technical production, creating an environment where every presentation, announcement and guest interaction was supported by dependable audiovisual technology.

The Challenge

Transforming a temporary venue into a polished executive event space required far more than installing audiovisual equipment. Every production element had to work together to create an environment that felt permanent, professional and aligned with the SailGP brand.

The programme relied on uninterrupted presentations, high-quality video playback and clear speech reinforcement, while the venue also included dedicated hospitality and family areas that required their own technical infrastructure. Working within a temporary build meant carefully coordinating power, rigging, communications and AV networking to ensure every system performed reliably throughout the event.
